Koh Ta Kiev

Staying on this remote island off the coast of The Ream National Park was an amazing way to end my trip.  5 days of blissful lazing around and exploring the island and eating the most amazing food made by a professional chef.  The island was 8 km long and very wild and unspoilt with virgin jungle.  By far the quietest and least touristy of the islands.

On one of the days, we did a sunset boat trip round the island.

Hans, the Norwegian Viking.  He worked at the island, lots of fun.

Emerald green water, the perfect temperature for long swims.

Leaping from Elephant Rock

Robinsoe Crusoe living at its best

Stephen and Rene, two guys I really got on well with.

Stephen is from Alaska and studies salmon out in the wild for a living.  Such a lovely guy.

The view from the deck.  The food was made by a professional chef, probably the best food of the whole trip.

Sunset from the deck.  Not a bad life!

One of the staff at the island had this tattoo.  Summed up the philosophy of the island.  I love it!!  Thinking of getting one :)

What a totally wonderful month of new experiences though quite pleased to see the beard back trimmed in the latest blog entry photo! Knowing your hatred of needles I am not sure about a tattoo. I usually HATE them with a passion so please make it smallish and discreet if you do decide to have one!!!! Seriously the photos are fantastic as usual and have given me a great look into Cambodian life too.

What a stunning island! Beautiful sunsets and pure bliss. Awesome idea for a tattoo, but the non perfect circle of that one would drive your OCD sister nuts!!
